It’s actually simple, when you know how. Learn and accept the rules of the game of life, and play by those rules to get what you want. It’s interesting, because when you actually start to question why you want anything in life, you very quickly come to the conclusion that the reason you want anything more than where you are is because you think you will feel better if you had it. The other thing you quickly realise is that you can’t ever be truly happy unless you make movements towards your desires, towards your dreams out there ahead of you in your future.
The crux of this whole game called life is that you can’t ever go back and be happy. When you’ve become aware that you want more than you have, you will never feel happy unless you can become that new and improved person that you have identified yourself as wanting to be. Life is about expanding, becoming more, and you will be constantly becoming. Whether or not you effectively keep up with your own becoming, is really up to you. Some people allow themselves to go to who they’ve become (richer, more beautiful, more successful, more creative, more loving), and they live joyful lives as a result. Others tend to drag their feet and have lives which are less fun as they feel the tension between their ‘potential lives’ and their ‘reality’. If you want powerfully, and yet fail miserably to keep up with your expansion, the tension becomes unbearable and you tend to block out reality with some substance or bevahiour which diverts your focus, or else you exit the game early.
Others are convinced that because it feels painful to want, that wanting, in and of itself, is somehow wrong. So they try to reduce their desires. This is an uphill struggle, as life in all of its variety is designed to inspire desire from those who participate in it. It is what expansion of life is all about. These people tend to become resentful at those who want and receive, and always feel a certain amount is missing from their lives as they recognise deep down that they are missing the greater part of themselves elsewhere.
The majority of people do not understand how to play this game called life. In their dis-empowered state they seek to control the circumstances and events of life to feel better, creating laws, rules and regulations from their place of powerlessness. If they understood the rules and were self-empowered, they would start to realise that they need not feel fearful of any other person, because they would understand how they get what they get. They would stop trying to think, and they would feel their way through life.
Furthermore, the only way you can ever come into your own power is by letting go of control of the outside world, its people places and things, and look inside yourself instead to seek control of the way you feel. Many great teachers throughout the ages have spoken of unconditional love, and this is what they meant. Unconditional love says “I will love (feel good) regardless of what the conditions might be. I will be who I really am and love you, even if you are feeling bad and blaming me or my behaviour for the way you feel”. Conditional love says; “I will love (feel good) when you behave in a way that pleases me, but if you don’t please me, I will disapprove of you and feel bad. It is your responsibility to behave in a way that makes me feel good.” So how can we practice unconditional love? By focussing in a way that makes us feel good. Seeing things in a kind, loving, gentle light, giving people the benefit of the doubt. By knowing that nobody’s done anything wrong and that all really is well. By demonstrating the loving person that you really are to the world, and feeling the true nature of your being.
Sadly the majority of people get socialised into listening more to others than to their own inner voice and strength, as those who surround them look to control the behaviour of the outside world so they can feel better. This is unfortunate, because the only truly important thing for you to do whilst you’re here in this physical life experience is to stay feeling good. How you feel is crucial; it determines everything that comes to you in life. In order to get to the point where you can control the way you feel, and therefore what comes to you in life, you need to have a greater understanding of your emotions, and why they are so important
Do you understand this game called life? How the world addresses itself to you? How you get or don’t get what you get in life? How is it that some are wildly successful and others live lives of mediocrity? Why are some people rich beyond your wildest dreams and other work so hard and earn but a pittance? Is life a game of chance, and is there any benefit in working hard? How do we make the world a fairer place for everyone living here? Do we need to change the systems we currently have in place?
There are a lot of questions here. But where to begin? Firstly, stop trying to think your way out and start to feel your way along the path. Your emotions are more powerful guidance than you probably realise; and if you can understand and use them effectively, they will guide you towards everything that you want in life. Anyway, before we talk about emotions, let’s talk about the Law of Attraction.
The Law of Attraction is the manager of all things. All things are vibrational, not just here, but everywhere both physical and non-physical. And it’s fair to say that if you are going to have a joyful life, you probably would benefit from understanding how it works. Law of Attraction matches up like and like things. The expression ‘Birds of a Feather Flock Together’ is a demonstration of the law. We attract to us things which are of similar essence? But similar in what way?
It you consider your brain as a radio receiver and transmitter, with the ability to tune in to unlimited frequencies. Good feeling happy high flying thoughts have high frequencies and bad feeling, sad, depressing thoughts have low frequencies. When we tune into these frequencies, law of attraction will match us up with the frequency to which we are tuned. Tune to love and see the love in the world. Tune to beauty and see how much beauty there is in the world. Tune to abundance and see the natural abundance in the world. Of course the same goes for the negatives of all of these things, but I wouldn’t recommend you look for those. It’s not that these things have been created by your thoughts. They were there all along, it’s just that you can see them now that you are tuned into their frequency. You have rendez vous’d with them.
In the real world, how does Law of Attraction work? If I copy successful people, will I become like them, successful? It depends. If the imitation of that person makes you feel like a successful person, then you will eventually achieve success, because law of attraction is only responding to the way you feel. If you act successful and still feel a failure, then the success you seek will continue to elude you until you feel better about your situation. Stop acting, and feel the way you want to feel and let the world respond to your thought vibration.
